Biography
John P. Wack - Principal Consultant and Owner
Principal consultant and owner John P. Wack has been active in the energy business since 1982. In 1982 John joined one of the largest electric utilities in North America, Centerior Energy, as an engineer at the Perry Nuclear power plant and later moved into the pricing area of the company as Manager of Pricing.
In 1997 John moved to Houston, Texas and worked with Enron Energy Services (EES). As a Director in EES John worked with customers on energy management and purchasing strategies until August 2001. After that John joined TXU in Dallas, Texas as Sr. Director in the deregulated retail commodity sales area until June 2003 at which time he joined Suez Energy Resources as VP of retail sales until July 2007, during which time Suez became one of the largest supplier in the deregulated electricity market.
In 2007 John joined Universal Energy Corporation of Toronto, Canada, as President of the Texas region to establish the a newly developed business unit for the sales of retail electric commodity. In February 2009 John established his own energy consulting business in the Houston, Texas area to assist customer in the purchase of their electrical needs.
